Gaming News Roundup – Sept 18

Ubisoft Announces ATOMEGA

A new Ubisoft IP has been announced this week with a very interesting look to it. It looks to be an online multiplayer shooter with the players starting off a single blocks but gathering more to grow into giant mechs. It looks pretty cool for what it is, I’m excited to hear more about modes an such. You can check out the trailer here.

Okami Being Remastered

Too many from the PS2 era, Okami was a classic, and those that missed out on the original and its first remaster will be getting a third opportunity to try out the well received action-adventure. This time around, it’ll be released for the Xbox One, PS4, and PC this December. I wonder why it’s not getting released on the Switch, it seems like it would be perfect for it, but oh well.

Yamcha, Tien, and a new Android?

Just off the heels of this new Dragon Ball FighterZ beta (all the servers were full the entire time if they were working at all), we’re getting leaks of new characters being added. Of course the usual Yamcha and Tien, but by the looks of it, FighterZ will be including an entirely new character to the universe. Can’t wait to learn her story and see how she fits into things, it’s got to be hard creating new characters in such an established brand.

That’s the news this week, not too much going on. Excited for anything shown at Nintendo Direct? Were you one of the people that loved Okami on the PS2? Let us know below! If you missed last week’s roundup, you can click here to get caught up. As always, stay tuned to Fanbros for next week’s roundup and everything else we have to offer.
