Violence In Video Games & GTAV (FanBrosShow On Arise TV 360)

Violence In Video Games

The FanBros return to Arise TV to discuss Violence in Video Games & The Grand Theft Auto phenomenon. Or to put it in other terms Benhameen & Tatiana drop by the set of Arise TV and gush about how awesome GTAV is and why it may be one of the best games of the year. Are you reading this Rockstar? Hopefully cause let me just say that Grand Theft Auto is pretty awesome and you should definitely get a copy for yourself.
Now that I’ve gotten that out of my system shouts out to Arise for having us on so we could discuss violence in video games, I’m sure we will be expanding upon this on the next episode of FanBrosShow but for now check us out and hit up Arise and let them know that you want to see more of the FanBros! If you missed our first two appearances on the program then click here and check em out. Video after the break.

  • Good job Fanbros! Tatiana made a big point mentioning Mental health as a major factor in mass shooting in the recent years. GTA is amazing I haven’t had a chance to really immerse myself into it. I don’t blame Video games, Music or Movies for Violence. I really think it has to do with upbringing, human nature and mental health.

Sucks that the GTA series and Rockstar in general has to go through this every time they release a violent game. I remember when they released Manhunt and people were freaking out as if it was they first time someone was able to kill a person in a video game.

By the way, Fanbros should put together GTA V crew when online gets released. Im sure theres enough of us with the game to play a couple death matches.

I love how Tatiana’s married name makes her sound like the lead in a 70’s Blaxploitation film. That should be one of your costumes at ComiCon.

Don’t get me wrong, I love to see the show get it’s shine, but I really hate the hosts of this show, especially the male interviewer. I find him phony and pandering and all around gross. Thank you for not the allowing those rhetoric fueled, dumb-ass questions go unaddressed. Hit it in the mouth with that common sense and intelligence.

I really wish that hosts would look at a topic like video games and quit trying to approach it the same way it’s been handled for the last twenty years. Ask about R&D or the evolution of the graphics, what makes the game so special, where the future of gaming and console systems are headed. But that tired ole “violence begets violence” discussion is played out.
