Xenoblade Chronicles Returns With A Sequel
Xenoblade Chronicles was a sleeper hit on the Wii U and fans of the series will be delighted to know that a sequel is coming this holiday season to the Switch. The trailer’s pretty cool and apparently Xenoblade Chronicles 2 was the only JRPG at E3 this year. You can see the trailer here and a 40 minute gameplay here.
Kirby Coming To The Switch
Looks like a Kirby game is hitting the Switch, which is great because who doesn’t love Kirby? The answer is a few people. We don’t talk to those people. Anyway the game looks like a by-the-books Kirby game and you can see the trailer here.
Samus Is Back In Metroid Prime 4
Anticipation doesn’t accurately describe the intensity of how long Metroid fans have been waiting for Samus to return to form. Legendary female protagonist, Samus Aran will be hitting the Switch. We weren’t really shown anything, but we got confirmation that the game is in development.
Breath Of The Wild’s First DLC Pack
If you’ve managed to go through all the content in Breath Of The Wild, you’ll be glad to hear that the game’s first DLC will be available June 30th. Looks like it’ll have a new trial, new armor, a Korok mask, and a new mode called Master mode. You can see the trailer here. They also gave us a bit of info about the expansion after that, titled The Champions’ Ballad. Along with the second expansion will be amiibos of each of the four champions of Hyrule. The Champions’ Ballad will be out Holiday this year.
Rocket League Coming To The Switch
Looks like critically acclaimed indie effort Rocket League is coming to the Switch this Holiday. With how big Rocket League has gotten, I’m not too surprised that it wants to port to the Switch. It will also include some Nintendo exclusive items, similar to when it came to Xbox. You can see the trailer for it here.
Another Metroid Game Coming To The 3DS
Looks like you’ll have something to hold you until Metroid Prime 4 comes out. A 2D Metroid is coming to the 3DS that will apparently be a “reimagination” of Metroid 2 for Game Boy. It’ll be out September 15th. You can see the trailer here.
More Info On Super Mario Odyssey
We got a good, long look at what Super Mario Odyssey will be when it hits stores October 17th. It looks like the main new mechanic is Mario’s ability to possess enemies with his magical hat. Yeah, I want the number to their plug too. They gave us a trailer that you can see here and gave us a lengthy demonstration that you can see here, and another one showcasing the Wooded Kingdom here.
That was the Nintendo presentation, a lot of people are saying that Nintendo has the best conference of E3. What do you think? Let us know below!
